Didn't you already ask this in the suspension forum! The answer was no!

I don't know about the question asked but I heard that the rear raptor shock will bolt right up to a 300EX and give it more travel and a better ride plus adjustability. I'm looking for one now so I can try it myself. Anygbody out there got one for me?

Don't forget that only the 01 Raptor shock will work!

Oops, I didn't know that Jeff. Thanks! Do you happen to have one for sale? What's the difference? Is it really a good worthwhile upgrade for a 300EX? Seems like my 300 lands jumps too hard in the back. The front is OK because I added 400EX shocks and a-arms.

The 01's have a remote rezzy and the 02's have a piggyback rezzy. It makes a huge differance over the stock shock. One of our racers has a Works ultracross on the back of his, he rode the one with the Raptor shock and liked it a little better.

Super Dave,
I actually have a friend that goes by the nick name "Super Dave", he lives in California now. The 400EX A-arms bolt right up with no modifications necessary. You can use the stock 300EX shocks and they bolt right up also. If you use the 300EX shocks it lowers the ride height of the front of your quad by 2". The 400EX shocks are way too long to fit although I've heard of some people doing it by compressing the 400EX shocks until they are short enough but if you do that you have a ton of prelaod and you don't gain any travel. I liked the way my quad handled with the 300EX shocks because it was lower. I wanted to try the 400EX shocks though because I had them already. I bought a Durablue 2" lowering kit for the front and tried that but the 400EX shocks were still too long. I drilled a couple new mounting holes in the Durablue bracket and I still had to compress the shocks about 1/4" to get them to bolt up but it works fine and it has a very smooth ride now compared to the 300EX shocks. It also lands jumps a whole lot better. Now I just need to get a Raptor rear shock and I'll be set! Oh yeah, one of the absolute best mods I did to my 300 is adding 2.5" wheel spacers in the back. I've had mine on for about a year now and I highly recommend them!
