Possible Crack

if there was a crack in the headers would i be able to notice it when im riding, because im looking at the headers and im not sure if its a crack or if its supposed to be there, and sometimes when you shut the quad off it makes a popping noise similiar to backfiring, is that normal, any help would be great

just let the quad idle and put your hand infront of the possible crack, if its cracked then air will be coming out

and a cracked pipe won't work as good either, my friend had a hole in his 400 header bigger than the size of a pencil end, when he got another pipe it had much more power than the pipe with the hole

Exhaust leaks will cause it to backfire, but it usually runs like crap when you get on the gas and off.
