I went to the dealer the other day to look into a racing fourwheeler. He said that he will be getting a KFX 400 in soon and he could get it to me for $2400. He also said that it was in excellent condition. Anybody have suggestions about a deal like this? It is a 2003. :ermm:

that's insanely cheap, look it over or take someone you know that has knowledge of bikes and ask to ride it obviously....roll through all the gears make sure it runs fine. If you have room go through them run high low etc listen/look for anything unusual.

Look for rusted parts, saw one at the local dealership glanced at it an 03 Z yosh exhaust walked inside asking the price cause my buddy was lookin for a bike and he said like 3 somethin i walked back out there wondering why so cheap and alot of the *** end of the bike was covered in rust. Some idiots like to run there toys in the ocean - which is salt water - which makes things rust!

Yeah I think I might end up going with a new honda rancher AT because my dad said he would let me trade our rancher if I pay the difference. He said that it has to be a utility not a racing four wheeler. tough decisions. I dont think i can get a racing 4 wheeler for that much and have it last very long. Oh yeah the kaw ended up to be about $1000 more than what he originally said. :ermm:

Well the problem is that ive been burnt on the used ones twice now and dad would definitely help on the money a lot more if i get the ute. I would definitely like the kfx/z, but i don't think it's possible. Plus you get the no tax on "farm use" and better insurance. I just don't think i have the money right now and i'm 18 and need to keep a little in the bank. fun times:rolleyes:

Go over every inch of it and ride it before anything.
