NO, IRS on a sport quad it completely pointless, o lets do some donuts, or flat track, o wait no i just can do barrel rolls, damnit. It wieghs more, and its got less power. Im not even worried about the suzuki or the new 450r i have a 04 and will for a while, its built to be faster then anythign else anyway.

im not really scared because you cant compare to two... they are in different categories...

450r = race outlaw= versitle sport machine

but i do like the irs idea, i would like to try it myself, it would make for a good trail quad, or for gncc

irs will never do well on the race track you need the stiffness of a rear axle to be able to slide around these corners. i think they will be even less common than the predator at the races. if i had something to worry about it would be this new Z450 there talking about, race ready with fuel injection, either its gonna be an amazing quad or the fuel injections not gonna work right and we wont have to worry about anything.

I do like the idea of the Outlaw but.....................It has a few glaring downfalls. First it uses the predator motor which is not up to spec with todays 450 race engines. Next it uses the predators motor????????????????? Why don't we make a whole line up of atv's with the predator motor. This is retarted!!!! Last weight is a problem. I tell ya I just took 25lbs off of my 450r and it made a world of difference. Much smoother over the rough stuff. The outlaw weights around 440 dry so that means like 500 plus with all the woods racing stuff, nerfs, heavy duty tires add alot of weight, all guards ect................. Also the amount of money that would be needed to get this bike race ready. 4 shocks, 2 sets of aarms as the stock ones will not be strong enough.Other issues to think about are can drive shaft and cv joint handle a fully built race engine? Probable not. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

i can see that thing rolling too easily but im quite sure they are bringing out a 450 next year which is suitable 4 racing i dont know y they bothered with those dodgy a-arms on the back waste of money if u ask me ill only feel threatened if i saw 1 leading the pro class!!!!!lol

it won't work for mx but, it might be real good for cross-country

I'm not too concerned. If someone is faster than me through the woods they are probably a better rider and are gonna be faster tham me on any comporable quad and the same thing goes for slower. THe outlaw does seem like a cool machine but who knows what it really handles like?? We'll have to wait for a ride report from some folks out in the real world.

Not at all, it just depends on the rider in the end though.
