chain wear..

Im going on a week long trip up north to ride and dont want my chain breaking in the middle of it...So what are some good signs of a worn chain? my quads an 01 and still stock chain and sprockets. sprockets are still in excellent shape, so im assuming my chain is?

check the apperance. is it twisted any, thin in spots, bind up when moving it by hand, regularly oiled?
if the sprockets look great then id say the chain will be fine.

yea cuz really i dont even get out to ride much.....sucks living in the city....so really the chain should be in good condition...
