Recently i was looking over my 400, and noticed the front left fender was cracked right where it is held to the bracket that holds on to the frame. Any one else have this problem, and would a plastic welder help this problem? Hot glue is wat i have right now:D , but aint holding as good any more after a couple weeks.

Both mine are broke...and I can't figure out how to supported them! I'm thinking about making a bracket, drilling 2 holes in the front hood, and bolting it right down...cuz these brackets don't hold **** anymore!:chinese:

My fender also broke int he same spot, I cut a piece of scrap aluminum and put to small self tapping screws through it to hold the aluminum brace on then just bolted the fender brace back on to the aluminum.

i just use a soldering iron and some plastic shavings and weld the plastic back :D

lol yeah, same thing happened to mine...im still deciding on a solution...i hate to drill through the plastic tho so i might just try a plastic welder and melt some extra shavings on around it for extra support.

well... after a long time, i finally got time to fix the problem. I just took a little peice of alluminum (sp), and drilled 2 holes in it. And bput the bold that orriginally holds the fender on and put that bolt into one hole, and drilled a hole into the plastic and put a small bolt into that and tightened it. It has held for the past 4 weeks, and no signs of it breaking more. I recomend anyone to try thisn if they have the same problem with their fender.
