are 450r and 400ex nerfs interchangable???

the brackets that bolt to the frame at the motor mounts will not bolt up/line up, but with some modifications or make a new bracket they will work.

no, the frames are completely different allthough, im sure like prepracing said with moddification they could work...maybe:)

sorry, hit the submit button by accident, anyway one of the guys I ride with had just put a new set of propegs on his 400 then ended up getting a 450 about a month later. He just made some little drop brackets to mount from the motor mount to the nerfs where they don't line up exactly on the 450. Has worked great so far. Just hold them up to the 450 and u will see what I'm talkin about

As long as the front has a cross tube that attaches to the frame you should be fine.

If the front attached to motor mounts like ac's, no they wont fit.

some will without modifications. Any nerf like DG kromelites for example that use U-bolts to attach to the frame in the front should bolt right up. Others you could "jerry-rig" on but why not just buy the ones for your quad.

because if you have some for a 400ex and own a 450r it is a good way to save some money.

To me saving a few bucks isn't worth having my nerfs fall off in a race and breaking an ankle or something else. Just my .02
