OK, i just picked up a walsh swingarm for my project 400ex not more than a couple hrs ago from a friend. I got it so cheap because it has a hairline crack right along a weld. No more than .5'' long, and very very hard to see. So one nice pass with the tig welder and it will be mint.

Anyway he cant remember if it was +1 or +.5 or +1.5
He had about 4 other swingarms there, a stocker, a +2 burgard, and a leagers and cant remember what it is. I think its +1

It measures 21'' from the front of the pivot area...the furthest most part, back to behind where the carrier mounts, not including the bolts.
Any idea on the length?

sounds like you got a great deal. just make sure the weld gets very good penentration, because you dont want it to break on you while your riding.

Can someone just run out and measure their swinger please? You dont even need it off, just a rough estimate so i know if im +1 or what.

i went out and measured mine and from the center of the pivot bolt to the end of the tabs for the bolts on the back it measured about 20.5 hope that helps

stock length is pretty good as it is, it gets good traction and seems to be a good balance point. Its also not too far out to make the wheels spin excessively.
