if i got +2 a arms for a 400ex and tehn got 4+1 offset wheels whould the width be the same as +1 a arms. would this setup work good for trail riding

It would be better for trail riding, but if it is tight winding trails threw the woods you might have a bit of a problem

uuuhhh! Why not just get 1" wheel spacers?

cause wheel spacers are hell on spindles and other joints plus it causes alot of bumbsteer
