I broke the swing arm on my 88 250r and ordered a new aftermarket arm , but when it came in it is for a 86-87 but is the 88-89 length. does anybody know if this will work with just using the 88 sleeve for the bearings up front?

does anyone know if you can do this by putting seals on the inner part of the swingarm where it rides on the sleeve? surely someone has tried this. I know the swingarm will fit as far as size but will it be dependable?

Well I'd love to but I dont want to wait 6 weeks for them to build me one. And I'm pretty sure it will work , just hoped someone else has already tried. know what I mean?

You need to find a center mount from an 86-87 250R and cut the motor mount ears off of it. This will serve as your spacer between the bearing area.
