kill switch installation (pro design)

okay, i know how to do this, but, i am transfring this kill switch from an old quad, and the wires are cut the same length, so which on was originally the long one? was it the one coming out of the part that moves in and out? (closest to the tether cord) or is it the end part with the little metal circle peice?

Run the one that goes to the plunger part of the switch to the black and white wire other to ground.

it does not matter which wire you ground. all the switch does is ground the circut.
