Forgive me for being ignorant, but since this seemingly involves sound rules, shouldnt there be a mention of decibels, etc... Something to clue in the common man. I know the chart is representing sound waves, clue me in as to what it is getting across.

Well, I may be way off here, but going from the wavelength and the reflectance, I would guess that it is showing how different freguencies reflect off of other objects. That is just my guess, and if it is anywhere near right, I don't see how documnetation of that will change how people look at 4 stroke exhaust.
