I might not be a good one to respond to this because I work there. But I like it alot. the track has some thing for every skill level. I would suggest you go on a saterday or sunday. there is more people to ride with and the track is in better shape.I will be there saterday for sure and maybe sunday. :D

The track looks cool, how is the wood section? Do you know how long the trails are, are they technical, or just fast trails, and Mud?

Never been on the trails but, my son raced there at the quad race on 7/9 and he loved the track.

The woods are very rocky. There are about 6 miles of harescramble track

Bad news for us ATV riders. Tomahawk is only allowing Quads to ride on Thursday and Friday open practice starting August 13,2005.

Check there web site for details.

Why?

That really sucks. I was up there on Sunday with a couple of guys. The track is nice, some of the jumps are good size, I was not use to that, so it was rough, but I got some good XC practice on there Harescramble trail in the woods, we hit it like 6 times that day...Trees just pop out at you....

Looks like they changed it a bit from when they first posted it saying no quads on the weekend. Here is how it reads now...

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Beginning on August 13th, there will be NO ADULT QUADS ALLOWED ON OUR MAIN TRACK SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS for open practice. Our Harescrambles will still be available for ADULT riders YOUTH riders may still ride their Quads on weekends, on the small tracks. Saturday and Sunday practices will be Bikes Only on the main track. All Quads are welcome to participate in open practice on the main track during weekday practices.

That really sucks. I liked having a place to go that was relatively close. I always saw a good turnout of quads on the weekends, sometimes even more than bikes. Wonder why the change?

I believe it is an issue with insurance.
