if you tap it out make sure you dont get any metal shavings in your engine.

Everyone makes a big deal about metal shavings in the engine?

first of all what do you think the clutch is doing ??

I am not saying you should fill the engine with metal,it is just not as big of deal as everyone makes it out to be and it is aluminium shavings.:eek2:

just cover the tap woth grease. this will collect most all of the matel shavings when you tap it. you can also have it helicoiled to fit an lt250r plug.

Tap the hole to use a 1/8" NPT, if it were me I would fore go the grease and just rinse out the case with kerosene afterwards
