Has anybody had any trouble installing a 13:1 JE piston into their cylinder? I had trouble getting the oil rings in and actually broke the bottom ring. Just looking for any tips or advice thanks.

make sure you gap the rings first. the specs will be on the piece of paper that came with the pistons. 2nd, use a ring compressor. i know it isn't needed but it is much safer. you could easily twist a ring with using your hands and not realize it, until your bike doesn't run long

We did gap the rings and you tried a compressor and still no luck. Just wondering if anybody had any little tips or tricks that worked for them.

I had a little trouble with the oil rings on my JE piston as well. I gapped the rings, but didn't use a spring compressor, I just used my fingers and a plastic screwdriver as I put the cylinder down over the piston. The spring behind the oil rings can be tricky sometimes, keeping it and the oil rings aligned.
