It is amazing how quickly things have changed in less than 5 years since Leo (Orginal Admin) decided to create a website for 400EX Enthusiast and figured a forum would be a great tool for sharing information.

Here is what EXriders.com forum looked like on 12/5/2000 with just over 1,000 post

24th member and only 227 posts? You must do a lot more reading than posting.

not everyone has the time to go on as much as some people do, also alot of people just post if they have a question or know an awnser, take away all your posts like "lol" "sweet quad man" "yeah same here" and you dont have as much as you really think

that old site looks crazy:cool:

Alot of the forums issue a sequential number when you first sign up. You can see that number by holding your cursor over your "profile" button. Unfortunately, this website had a massive change early on so alot of the oldest members had to re-register or something, so their number is not accurate from when they were a member of the original site.

The number I am referring to is the very last part of the of your user ID that is located at the bottom of the webpage to direct you where the link will take you, if you click on it.

For example your is #54. while mine is 5869 ( you can find this out on anyone's profile.)

I too remember when the site was like that, but I was still overseas and couldn't remeber what my username was when I returned so I made a new one.

I agree, I know Harlen is busy with the site. But, it would be nice in the future to go back to the old color scheme or a new one.

You can click on members at the top of the forum and they are listed sequentially by registration date.

Back in the day it was a much more technical forum and I learned pretty much everything I know from this and Gabe's (86atc250r) Yahoo 400ex group. I have always been more of a reader than a poster. They say the best way to learn is listen.

staring at the current color scheme is like starng at a lighbulb...i wonder what a grey back ground would look like or at least just a little darker?

Hmm thats weird. The way i did it was i went to members at the top of the page and hit list by date joined. GIZ400ex it says you were the 6th to joined. Not sure if that is correct or if merriman is right. Either way that was along time ago. This site has come along ways.

Giz, looks like I registered right after you. According to the board, your 6th and I'm 7th. The profile shows you has 54 and I'm 55. Good to see I'm not the only one that has stuck around this long...LOL!

I've been a member here longer than I've known my wife...

Thats awsome seeing what the site came from. I joined here about a year and a half ago. I think I had a user name that I used before that, when I found the site about 3 years ago, when I first got my 300ex, and I wanted to know how the 300ex compared to the blaster:rolleyes:

Im member number 14922, the site has more than doubled since I came here. I remember there was only 3 or 4 section for sport quads, 2 or 3 areas in the race coverage area, the general section only had frequently asked questions, open forum, and that might have been it, and the only site sponsor was C&D racing.
