Do you know the exact setup these were designed and valved for?

they are on stock arms right now. when i bought them off of ebay the auction said they were for a z400 and valved for 180lb rider. i cant say what thier valved for because i dont have a 250r to try them out on. i weigh 140lb so id say maybe 160-170lb on a 250r. they are on stock arms right now but when i bought them it said for +2's. ill pep and ask them

are these as the other ones you are trying to sell? sure look the same ? do they fit a 250r or 400?

250r shocks are the exact same shock as ltz400 shocks. these will fir both so i posted this in both sections.

to that guy that said they'll fit a z400 hes an idiot. they WILL NOT fit on a z400. how do i know besides being told by at least 3 different shock builders that they are different? well i tried to sell my works to my friend with a z400. they bolted up sure..but they are way way soft. the z400 has a totally different stroke and leverage ratio than the 400ex. im not tryin to kill your sale tho...im just trying to prevent somebody from getting something they don't want and you from getting bad feedbackpossibly

actually thier valved for a ltz400 but will fit all others. dont start attacking me while im trying to sell my shocks. Why is this any of your business anyway? do you want to buy them? if not stay out of this i cant believe you actually wasted your time calling places and asking people just to try to prove me wrong about somthing you dont even know what the hell your talking about. i know what im talking about and i dont rip people off. their valved for an ltz400 so they work graet on the ltz,kfx,dvx,and450r. if you want them to work on a 250r all you do is lower the knob on the rezzies or adjust the springs softer. have a great day

yea ACE is a great guy to deal with and knows his sh*t. They will work on all of those and may need to turn a knob to work but whoop te doo!!:scary: Have a nice day too.

all rawdeal is doing is looking out for other site members. the same as you would want done for you if you were about to spend your hard earned money......your add is a little misleading. until he said something you made it sound like they will work on both machines no problem. then when he called you on it. you said well they will probaly work on a 250r just have to do a little adjusting......a word of advice for future posts.....say exactly what you're selling was made for, then mention that it may work on other machines. that way the buyer will make that decision or ask you the questions that will put them at ease with the purchase. by the way i don't know you or rawdeal, so i'm sure you're(AceLtz)a genuine person, and a reliable seller. i also apprecciate "watchdogs" like rawdeal because they sometimes notice something the rest of us missed, and that can be helpful.....goodluck and sorry this was not meant to offend any of the parties involved...let's all have a great day:D

First off i did not call around checking this out, but other people did. I was looking for shocks for a 250r, and you cannot just twist the compression knob to make them work.Not trying to hurt your sale just trying to find out what they are really for. I think you bought these off ebay or something and dont really know what they are for? Also it would not cost more to revalve the shock unless they were for the wrong model. so go ahead with the sale sorry......once you find out what they are really for please pm me. I am sure you are a good seller , and not trying to personally attack you.

There we go, yea ace figure out forsure what they are for so buyers don't get screwed like you did when you bought them. That is a good price so if you find out i'm sure they will sell quick. Let's all have a nice day!:D

on the top of the them it has the serial number which says it is a 250r shock body and rezzie. but it is valved for an ltz400. right now i have them on my ltz400 and the zps makes them ride too low for me. they would work graet on a 250r. see in the first pic how tight i have the springs? and it still rides pretty low. the guy i bought them from made them like that cause he raced mx.
