I just bought some ars-fx a-arms and they dont have any grease zerks. Dont most other a-arm brands have them??? Is it hard to put some in them?

No not all a arms have them. My burgards don't have them. To put them in all you have to do is drill and tap a hole in the a arms, then put in a greese fitting.

the only zerk ive found on my dvx is on the shock mount on the swinger

When you put them in you have to make sure the zerk isn't going to interfer with the bushing movement. I was annoyed when I got my Houser swingarm and it didn't have them, part of buying aftermarket stuff for Honda's is having grease fittings (hey Honda, hint, hint) and when I got it the instructions explained that they had to remove them since they hit the engine case.

not to sure........but I don't think that I would go putting grease fittings in a set of high $$$$$$$ dollar a-arms like ARSFX. If they don't have any then they must not need them. Notice honda's don't have grease fittings and all their bushings and bearings outlast all the yamaha stuff twice as long, and they are full of grease fittings. Thats what you call engineering !

i think that the arsfx a arms run on bearings and not bushings. so they dont need them. just put a little greese on the bearing when u install them.

Mine are just +2 standard travel, I haven't checked to see what model of a arm they are.

The reason that most TRX450 arms do not have grease zirts is because of the mount on the frame. There is not enough clearance for them. Someone mentioned some arms with them on the bottom. It will clear but bieng on the bottom they have a possibility of getting hit.

hmm...where did you find those at? i would like to pick some up.

actually..it would be very easy to modify the stock bolts and put those grease zerks in. that is one great idea, im gonna do it to my shock bolt since i have a few spares to try it out. well thats when i get it running again, with my work schedual who knows how long it will be but ill post when i get it done.

put zerks on your honda a-arms and you will hear it squeak within a few weeks , stock design is the best.

no....Ars-fx dont use bearings...they use bushings...and its kinda worrying me. I dont want to have to replace them all the time.
