dead 300ex

i juss rebuilt da motor and painted the frame on my friends 300ex and when i press the starter button nothing happens, not even a click.the lights come on but the starter does turn over, can anybody help me figure out wats wrong?

i take it you meant doesnt turn over. common problem after everyone paints or powdercoats a frame, they forget to sand the paint off the frame where the grounds go. check where the subframe connects that theres no paint inbetween the area thats probly whats stopping the circuit. ;)

no that aint work but when i touch the 2 bolts on da cylanoid (spelled wrong..lol) with a screwdriver it turns over so im lost

Is there a starter relay on your friends 300? See if you can find out if there is and where it might be, when I had starter problems with my rappy I Replaced that and It worked fine, same symptoms too.

check the two fuses in front of the battery prolly not the problem but it wont hurt

sounds like a bad solonoid- solonoide- all well you get the point.
