i was replaceing my brake pads when this round shaped peaice fell off the piston...:huh looks like it was held on my silicon or somthing. Do i need to put silcone back on the back of it to hold it on? or will the pressure of the brakes hold it in place once i get the capiler mounted back up!?

the pressure will hold it there.

That fell off mine too and I didn't put any silicone on it but it couldn't hurt.

same here, mine feel off too... just let the pressure take care of it. but i do have a question-when i changed my brake pads in the back you have to push the caliper in to fit the pads in...and when you do that the break fluid goes into the reserve... but when the brakes are back installed after a few hours i was told the fluid is suppose to go back down and mine hasnt! it is all the way to the top on the reserve cap and looks like it is over filled?? but before i did the breaks the brake fluid was only half way full...???

That's because there was more room in the caliper for fluid before you put your new brakes on because the piston was out further. Now that you have new pads on there the piston is pushed back in the caliper and the fluid level is now higher in your master cylinder reservoir.
