I am running an R with a CT 295 kit, LRD pipe K&N with no airbox, head milled to 24.5cc(like 10:1or11:1), and stock porting with stock carb. To me my jetting specs are way lean. I am running a 40 pilot, 158 main, and needle in 3 or 4 clip(it varies depending on weather) . The thing fouls plugs after about an hour of ridding. I think I need to go to a 155 main put these specs just seem lean to me, especially the pilot. I am assumeing it is an electrical problem, anyone have any ideas? and yes I know I need to go to a 38 airstryker:D

That does sound way lean, I have a ct ported cylinder with a 34 carb that runs 48 pilot 152 main with the needle in the stock position at 2500 ft. My cylinder is 80 over. With a 295 depeneding on elevation you should be around 50-52 pilot with a 160-170 main.

I can't figure out what is causeing it, I am running in the dunes which is sea leval. LRD told me I should be 45-52 pilot, needle on 3 or 4 clip, and like 158 to 165 main. Mainly cause I am non-ported but I am running way under that. CT told me that it is most likely an electrical prob. but everything tests fine. I am stumped:confused:
