what is the size of my carb on my 05 ex ??
is it true that the 04-05 have bigger carb than the older model
like the older have 35.5 mm carb an the 04-05 have 38 or 39mm ??

im pretty sure they all have the same size carb

Go to Honda's website and look there. They have a spec sheet on their bikes.

the furthest back honda goes on their website is 04, the 04 and 05 both have 38mm carbs

Not as far as I know. I'm pretty sure the carb has not changed in diameter.

on servicehonda.com the carb parts are
1999-2000 16100-HN1-013 CARBURETOR (QB10A A)
2001-2004 16100-HN1-013 CARBURETOR (QB10A B)


so the Part# is tha same for all years.. but the carb was slightly modified in the floatbowl area from the looks of all the parts between the 2 sets of years.
