HD cam chain help

I looked on the computer at work for the CRF450 cam chain. they list 02 -05 take the same chain. I read on this form that only an 02 chain will. work. If any of you have this cam chain in your 400EX. what was the honda part number you got. i have part number 14401-MEB-671 if this is the same part number you got then kewl. i got one at work if not. let me know.

on the first page of the FAQ forum on this site one of the threads talks about the crf timing chain. read it because the part number is in there. any of the chains should work because i found the part numbers to be the same too.

kewl beans. its the same part number. Good now i got a HD cam chain... Another Question. Manual cam chain adjusters. is there one out there for the 400EX. the oem one is ok. but I'd like to adjust it to make sure its right everytime. I had one on my Suzuki GSXR with it i was able to keep an eye on stuff wearing out in side the motor.

yeah, there is one. i don't remember who makes it though. i would search for timing and chain and tensioner. you may come up with something doing this.
