250r swingarm on a 300ex

has anyone ever tried this ...i have an aluminum 250r swinger
and other than length it looks the same .i know the bearing carrier will fit the 'r swingarm...just a question.

you will need to do minor welding to support the linkage. I would say get some cr 500 linkage and use that. do a search and you might find some pictures.
