450r carb on 300ex

would a 450r carb fit on a 300ex? i know a 400ex 1 will.

well the 400 carb will fit if you put on the boot or airbox off a 350x. so i guess since the 450r carb has the same diameter to fit on the 400ex, you probly just need to do the same thing?

The question should be are you going to get enough air sucked through to make it work right? ;)

w/o major engine mods, I don't think you will. I wouldn't spend the money on one unless you're fully modded.

not that easy...the 400ex carb is bigger inside and out then a 300ex carb....and you don't need the 350X boot you can just make the stock one a little bigger....and the 450R carb is way bigger then the 400ex carb.

so I would say no you won't be able to make it work...you are going from like 32mm to 42mm way to big difference...you won't have to power to pull the carb...and it would be a b*tch to put on

so just go with the 400ex carb
