6-60 million bees anyone???

I work at a cranberry marsh and we get any where from 6-60 million honey bees every year to pollinate the berrys, amazin how good of a job they do but i hate having them there because its almost impossible to get away from the suckers.....last year i got stung in the eye and it swelled up to baseball size couldnt see out of it for 2 weeks..... the reason for the such wide span of bees is because they guarentee you 10,000 bees in every box but there could be up to 100,000 i wasnt able to pics of every set of bees but i think you guys get the idea, just thought id bug you guys with my entertainment. (pun intended)

I'm really alergic to bee stings...I got stung once and almost died...so now if I see a bee..I run away like a little girl..:o

the other day I saw a beez nest. I dident hapen to have any spray that killes them. so I tryed using carb cleener. bad idear. all it did was piss them off.

I remember watching someone try and grab a nest with a grocery bag .... but to that person's surprise , there was a whole in the bag that they hadn't noticed . Wanna talk about a bunch of pissed off wasps !!

hahaha at hockey camp last week u had to run and touch a fence and come bac......... there was a nest inside the fence and when i touched it they murdered me i got stung 8 times:(

I use WD-40 on the paper wasps here. It kills them, the best time to spray a nest is in the coolest parts of the day. The bees are less active in the cool weather and you're less likely to be stung.

lol i use brake cleaner and it pretty much kills any insect i spray it on

I run like a girl to.But when i am feeling brave ill take a eather can and a lighter and go up to it and flick the lighter on and let the ****ers have it, works like a chram.Might not when the can blows up tho:eek2: .

we were by a river and just got done tubing. We get on land and see a bee's nest. We knocked it down and they started sworming like crazy. So we go and jump in the water. The little f'ers stung me in the face while I was in the water. I had to wear a patch on my eye for a couple weeks.

Tip: Never knock down bee hives even if you are by water.

i shoot wasp nests down with a bb gun, works pretty good and you dont have to be right next to them to do it!! lol every now and then im able to pick one off in the air but thats pretty rare

on the day that the bee's were comming i bought a big can of raid and took it with me to work not on intentions of killin the bees just as a joke, i have this feelin if i killed the bees it would come out of my pay checkand beside the fact i would need like 1 million cans of it :eek2: heh all fun n games

I always throw rocks at nests, spray them, light them on fire, throw firecrackers in them.. anything to kill them n have fun :D

Just last week,I was lifting weights,bench pressing.And as soon as I cam down,3 wasp came out fo the bench and go ahold of me,I coulnt pick up the bar and i was stuck,and nobody helped they jus tran.

the other day i got stung 4 times all at once, little wimpy yellow jackets thou, under the chin, on the wrist, my back and inside of my thigh. i wouldnt want to be stung by a BALDFACE hornet thou, those have the black and yellow stripes and are bigger than a yellow jacket. what you do is buy some RAID or name brand wasp and hornet killer and go out first thing in the a.m. just enough daylight to see em and douse them good with that stuff, then take the bottom of the can and knock the nest down and step on it.:blah:

I am also allergic to bees, but not to the point of being kiled by just one. It makes the area where I got stung swell up so bad that it feels liek it is going to burst. Last year I stepped on one, and my foot looked like a football. For some reason though, I think the allergy to bees has made me invurnerable to wasps. They don't hurt at all when they sting me, and I don't swell. It's really odd.

sprayed a bee yesterday with some raid. damn bee dident want to quit. I must have sprayed the bee for 5 secconds before it fell to the ground.
