New here, have been reading for a while trying to decide what my first quad should be, very confusing expecially when their are all these posts about this vs that and really get no hard answers from these posts as everyone seems bias to what they own.

In any case, I am sure i will figure it out sooner or later.

PS im in Coral Springs Florida.

whats up,welcome to exriders,to make better suggestions for your first bike we need to know at least a few of these things ,how old are you, do you have any experince (dirt bike street bikes etc) and what tipe of riding do you plan on doing, all these will help us make suggestion for your quad

38, did some local motocross stuff on 125 and 250 also had a ninja which i sold about 2 months ago.

I dont think i will be doing any track stuff, (im getting over the hill soon) mostly just going out to wherever has a riding spot and ripping it up a bit...

Very skilled in 2 stroke, and prefer that but for whats out there right now in 2 stroke their arent many choices.

Right now its a tossup between Banshee or 450R, was looking at some really nice 250's some with some really nice engines in them but finding a decent frame right now is getting very hard.

A buddy of mine has a raptor, and i have ridden a 450R they are ok and all but it just doesnt give me the adrenaline rush of a 2 stroke.

They are pretty rare though. A guy that races in my district has one and he ripps on it. Have you ridden a yfz? People say the power delivery is more like a 2-stroke.

says it has extended swingarm but i think thats bull coz it looks stock to me.

if i were you i would get a yfz it kinda seemas like im biased from m avatar and username and all. but they feel much more like a 2 stroke than a trx, and you will probably want the extra dependability of the 4 stoke over the gas gas
