To get some cash for a truck... I'm pretty sure the shocks are 16 inches.

You're going to take a real beatin' on that thing. The reason is because in essence, it is no longer a Honda because the engine has been redone. Honda reliability is gone. If you need a big, fast race machine, it's always better to buy one than take a lesser machine and try to transform it into something it isn't. I trust Honda, with all it's years of experence, all of their highly qualified engineers, and all their test equipment over something someone has pieced together in the back of his garage after he got off work. Keep your quad. Use it as collateral.

Wow, we 've got a bright one here!!!!

Since when is a sparks national engine considered pieced together?

ATV engines in general are so de-tuned from the factory that it's not even funny.

Read more carefully. I said the machine was pieced together, not the engine.

But since you brought it up, Who's reputation superscedes whose? Sparks may be a good engine, but it doesn't have the reputation that Honda does.

And he is going to take a beatin when he sells. That probably doesn't really matter to him. But he asked.....

actually take a look around....... a sparks national built motor will bring way more $$$$$$ than a stock honda motor:blah:

Around here, a nice clean box stock, 1 or 2 year old 400 sells for $3500. So then, your modded machine, same age and same shape should go for $3500 plus whatever you have in modifications, Right? I doubt it.

BTW, motors use electricity, engines burn fuel.
