I have a 2003 KFX and race mx and I have had no problems. I raced Unadilla a couple of weeks ago and my quad held up great. I have heard the problems with the 03's but I have not encountered any.

when i had my 03, within the 1st month it bent. i do real agressive trail riding and the occasional mxing, but i rode it all out all the time. si it was bound to bend. went with a lrs axle and it was awsome. never had any problems with it.
