since it rained a little yesterday, my uncle worked on the track a little, and a few of us rode. it was pretty awesome, for as hot and dry as it's been lately. thanks again to mom, who took the pics, even with it being 100+ degrees out :eek: she even got brave and got pretty close a few times :clap:

i'll post the vids once they're all up. and i'm using putfile this time, for those that don't like eengoedidee :icon_biggrin: enjoy :icon_cool:

here's the vids!!! these were taken from a still camera, cause we don't have a digital movie cam. so their kinda small. the quality is better on size 320, but 480 isn't too bad. and turn the volume on the screen down. tell me what'cha think

when are you guys gonna have like a practice again, and do you ever have just quads without the bikes. Ive just been that one time and there was like 3 or 4 quads

were having a prepped practice this next weekend, JULY 30-31. i don't think i'll be able to go tho :ermm:

there was only like 10 quads at the last race. i just don't know what the deal is with the quad riders around here. they all flock to the small, boring, easy tracks around here. idk, i guess this track is a little intimidating for some. alot of the jump faces are pretty big. but once you get used to it, it's one of the sweetest tracks around, i think

next year there ought to be some good quad turnouts tho, cause were getting in a big series (king of the hill series i think) with a bunch of tracks, and a bunch of quads usually run that series.

you should'a seen it about 4 years ago when it was just built. it was a monster!!! the jump was steeper, and the uphill was a wall, instead of tapering up.....well, i'll make a pic in paint to explain better. but joe byrd was the only quad to do it b4 it was mellowed out.

and the tabletop in the pics used to be a huge supercross style tripple. again, joe was the only quad to tripple it.... or even double it :p after a bunch of nasty wrecks and complaints it was made into that. still a pretty big jump tho.

even this winter it was bigger. a buddy of mine brought his dozer out and built it up. it was soooo much better and bigger, and i could even clear it on my old 400 then. but rain washed it out bad once, and it's never been the same. and now ya gotta hit it a lot faster, and it don't throw ya up much

I agree, Not the smartest thing to ride in board shorts.
If I wore anything else I would die of heat exhaustion though(I am in FL).

i hear ya on that one!! i hate wearing my gear during the summer. we've had a heat advisory for the past week or so with temps of like 105-115. when i was riding it wasn't too bad with the wind, but stop for like a second, and it's like your in an oven :scary:
