anybody in So Cal that has a esr 310 kit and if they do what is there jetting. I am @ 2300 ft. above sea level and I am running vp red 105 with a 38mm pj carb with a 50 pilot , needle @ the 3rd clip and a 172 main. Would this seem right

ESR recommends using a 50 pilot and 180 main jet. Which is usually too rich for my motor and I am at sea level . I think you might be close, but better start rich and lean the motor down. If you have stock ignition you will need to close the spark plug gap down to .015 due to the higher compression trying to blow out the spark.

I Started with 185 main jet with pump gas and that was too rich. went to a 178 and that was perfect with 91 octane. I am now running vp 105 and a 172 is still a little rich. I still have to play with it though
