Port and Polish

Is it really worth porting and polishing your head? Is it worth the money? What are the noticble gains from doing this? Do i have to re-jet my carb if i do this?

ive heard its not worth it on a stock engine, wont really feel a difference. but if you got a built one it will help out quite a bit.

Port and Polish is only worth it if you have other mods such as an overbore high compression piston, cam, filter and full exhaust. Yes you will have to rejet when you get it back. Adding an aftermarket carb like an FCR really makes a huge difference too on a ported head.
