Parked my truck in my driveway today when I was on my lunch break. It some how coasted down a hill and into a tree and I parked it in gear too. Now I need a new hood grill and bumper!

hell if u do it right u can get a big enough check to pay for the front end and still have plenty of cash to deck out the quad

Considering I have liability. If it didn't have a stupid plastic bumper on it nothing prolly would of happend. My fan went into my radiator and my dad does not understand why it doesn't leak. Guess I lucked out a little.

What kid of transmission is it? Manual or automatic? I assume its a manual as you said you "parked it in gear". Did you set the parking brake? I used to have an old Toyota that didnt have enough compression to hold the truck on a slope in gear with the engine off. LOL. Once the parking brake cable broke I had to start carring a block of wood in the bed, to block the wheels when I parked it.

if you park facing downhill put it in reverse, if you park facing up hill put it in 1st

No lie, that truck was shot. I wish I had a pic of it, it was an 83 4wd with the 22R. I had 295k on it when I finally sold it for the title. That truck was beat to hell.
