my own reverse mod.

i was tired of having to pull in the clutch with my left hand and hold there, then take my right hand of the gas and bars, reach over to the left and pull the clanky little lever up for reverse. so i fabbed up my own solution. i dont mind pulling in the clutch and pushing in the red button so i left that alone. however i removed to reverse shifter, welded some steel to is to make another foot shifter, flipped the shifter around and that was that. now all i do is push the button in and pull in the clutch and click the shifter down with my foot. it works excellent here is a pic. of my work.

Great mod! I think someone actually makes a kit like that (I think?). That should work great that way, as long as its small enough that you don't hit it while riding. Try Shifting into reverse with only the left arm. Thats what I always had to do for years until I got my 400ex.
