I'm in the market to buy a new extended swinarm. I was wondering what length would be most useful for my application. I mainly enjoy dirt flat darg racing and I have my quad pretty much set up for this, but I also do alot of trail and some hill climbing. I buying this swingarm because I have a problem in takeoffs with big time wheelie action and hope to control this allittle better. So my question is what length would be right and what might be too long? I dont want to change the feel and the way the quad might handle too drasically so I was thinking a +4. any thoughts?

Nothing longer than +1 1/4"

on a 400ex or a 450R i would go anywhere from +1.25 up to +2. if you really serious about dragging and hillclimbing a +3 will work well. +4 is too long and traction will suffer too much, also the bike wont turn as well.
the +1.25 is very popular and a lot of people use them for mx
