When I had a 400ex with a slip-on, no airbox lid, and rejetted I could tie a brand new z400.

i don't know about that one, the kfx winning hahahaha. i have an 04 400ex thats completly stock and i drag raced a kfx that had a pipe, k&n w/no airbox lid and the guy also had that exspense gas and the jetting done and lets say i beat the guy........yessssss hahaha and i also messed up with my shifting and i had the guy the whole race...we raced on a dry lake bed out there in johnson valley. later peace:devil: :devil:

ive got an 04 400ex and 1 of my good buddys has a 03 kfx, and we've raced 4 or 5 times and ive took him by a fourwheeler length everytime,His kfx has a Pro circuit Full system and a ket kit and k&n airfilter and my 400 has a white brothers slip on and stage 2 ket kit and K&N filter... we raced on highway.

same here i gotta 04 400ex and i smoke my friends z400 on 1/4 mile but he beats me on 1/2 mile drag that was when i had 16/38 gearing ,now i got 16/36 but i think its too high of a gearing

dude like i said i have stock 04 400ex and beat a kfx and we raced the whole dry lake bed and i smoked him from start to finish. i was head by at least two quads plus i messed up on my shifting.

well i have a 2000 400ex and my friend has a 2003z and we race all the time we have the same mods...pipes..k&n filters..jetted... and i smoke him every time i'd say the stock 400ex would take the kfx

You guys are stupid if you think stock for stock a 400ex will beat a kfx400. I used to own a 03 400ex and i raced my friends stock Z400 when i was still stock and the Z400 would win every time no matter who was driving what. The people you guys race must be 10 year old girls or they weigh 400 pounds because if your on a stock Z400 and cant beat a stock 400ex , you cant drive. Yall think since you own a 400ex its faster but its not , i have never seen a 400ex beat a Z400 when they both had the same mods and i have seen many , many races. Im not saying the Z is a better all around quad than the EX but i am saying that its faster in a drag and if you say other wise , your full of chit and you know it!

ya the z/kfx/dvx riders must suck if losing stock for stock. my buddy has a dvx stock and we tied after alot of runs. and i have a pipe and jetted
