I got the Cases today! Very nice. This thing is going to be sweet when I get it all back together, can't wait to get some pictures. Also I like how you did the 2 little covers in Black...

im glad you like them. i did the small inspection covers black so if they ever get scuffed or the coating hurt from installing/removing you could easily touch them up.

I just like how they draw your attention more, but that is a good idea just being able to touch them up. I'm ready to get this thing running...

detail is the key to any project and small parts like that do grab your attention. i still find things on my own quad that make me look twice:p

When you have something that makes you take a second look, then you know it's pretty sharp looking. Also that Black, is it just gloss black with clear or something? When I get my shifter, brake pedal, and footpegs redone I will do them that color, I like it...

its just high gloss black. on shifters and brake levers i add clear to help slow down the wear that is inevitable.

My footpegs are the worst, they chipped all to heck after the first couple rides...

Well I would, but actually I don't have any money one, and two, I would like to get some 450R stock footpegs to run since I just run the bare peg with nothing else, being a little bit bigger would help, and my teeth are dull...

Well I finally got the engine back and put in tonight. Man do those Cases make a huge difference with the way it looks. I also had the cylinder painted, with the polished fin edges. It looks awesome, can't wait to post up some pictures...

im sorry but i have no idea why you would have shocks all the way around. Full powdercoating etc, but no nerfs. Nerfs have saved my *** many times and i know just about everyone will vouch for that...

I didn't think at first I would like just running the Pegs, but after getting used to them, I think they are just fine. I would never ride like that with out riding boots on though.

That is a sweet looking 400! I also just started running without nerfs. It definitely has it's advantages in XC, but it can get a little hairy on the starts. I'm gonna try it for a little while then if I don't like it I have a brand new set of AC's waiting to go on.:D
