can you over-bore a 440? my bike was supposed to get a 416 kit installed but the original owner must have forgot to tell me he had already installed a 440 kit. now im stuck with a 440 thats smokin and i would like to fix the problem. is there any company that sells a piston that over-bores a 440 just enough to get compression back and smooth out the cylinder?

Yes you can, I think JE and Ross both makes 440 overbore pistons. Call up C&D and they should be able to help you out.

There are plenty of 89.5 mm pistons out there. Should work as long as your is an 89 mm. :macho
