Painting engine cases??

I have a friend give me a 250r motor for my project and I am wanting to paint my engine center cases why I have it apart.

Would a high temp engine enamel in the spray can work ok for this??

I know powdercoating it would be the best way to go but I dont want to invest that much into it.

Any tips and suggestions on the best way to do this would be appreciated.

dupont has a product that appears to be working very well. duponster on this site used it on his engine and it looked like new. maybe try pm'ing him and get the low down on exactly what he used.

I sent him a PM.. Just in the event that I change my mind what exatly would you charge me to powdercoat the cases gloss black???
