Ltz 450

the word for suzuki is the ltz450 will be out in about a month. has anyone seen pics of it.

i've seen no pics but it claims to be EFI, 3" wider than YFZ, lightweight frame, and performance exhaust and tires specially made for it.

supposed to have a super low center of gravity too. i HAVE to get one when they first come out but i dont do a lot of mx...... hope they are a decent trail machine :ermm:

i doubt it will have race ready suspension on it, that would up the cost so much more. and as for the 3'' wider than a stock 450, that would be a nightmare for trails riders that are zuki fans. but there are so many stories and theories floating around, no1 knows whats true or not any more.

oh i see, im not calling any one wrong that is just what i think. being race ready would cost a bundle from factory, but we will know for sure in a few months when its released(we hope)

Racing stock suspention seems like a little to much? Zook is going to have to be throwing some dough around if its what this bike talks up to be.

dude..obviously you didnt get the "supposedly" part. i was only sayin what ive been told. everything that i have said was told to me by guys on z400central in the z450 talk forum. im not tryin to argue with anybody about it cuz i only know what you know. if you want more info go there and argue with them guys. i was just puttin in my knowledge. sorry....

I talked to some clown the other night at the races who "supposedly" talked to his buddy who called the suzuki rep and got the downlow. He claims its going to sell for $5700. I laughed at him and said if it is that low it WILL NOT be race ready. I love these people.:rolleyes:

ok every 1 here is the suspension low down the nly reason suspension costs so much is because thedont make alot of the components no if a dealer such as suzuki mak=es race ready springs then they wont costs as much because they would get the parts from diffent people and there will be more like car suspension for a honda forsay a full set is 500$ and a z is like 2000 only because they dont make as much as the honda spring get me?

A friend of mine that I race with in Virginia said he ordered the first one that comes to Virginia. He said he will be the first one to have one in Virginia. And he said he will have it in October. I guess ill see in October if he gets it or not.

From what I here the zuk is going to be the mx and the kawasaki is going to be the trail bike.

The 450 will have a powerful engine with EFI and electric start. It will be low and wide and have axle setup like the Honda.

i found a new magazine in tenn.called QUAD. that had an article on the new suzuki 450. they talked to suzuki and they said it will be 3 in. wider than the yfz or the trx. better shocks than gust has ,fuel injection, lower to the ground, than the yfz, exhaust will be placed somewhere diff. to help center of gravity. the battery will be placed somewhere lower than normal. and a crome swingarm. and Gust will be racing it in stock form. Gust rode it and said the suspension was better than any he has used.

It is electric start, it has EFI, and has an exaust like the Polaris Outlaw (center of bike)!:D

There will be pics floating around in the next week, I'll post one as soon as I can!

And all the info Quad magazine gives on it is very accurate.

I haven't seen it yet, but I have a friend that works for Suzuki. They say they'll be on sale for sure in October! :macho

not necessarily...people like that kill me...going and putting money into something that they have never seen before. It doesn't make any sense to me. I mean I was excited about the 450r when it was a rumor, but I didnt run out and throw money at it...

2 or 3 guys on here did the same thing for the new Raptor 700r.........and no you don't really have to know how much it is to make a down payment. You could throw down 5K on a 7 thousand dollar machine same with a 700,000$ machine doesn't matter your just shaving that off.

That doesn't mean anything. Look at the old LT250R and LT500R, they had the reverse kickstart. Doesn't matter though, if it's going to be e-start anyways.
