Does the jet kit make a 400 go fatser, i need to blow some small money, and wanted to know if the jet kit makes it go any faster? I know it makes you have a 5% more of a throttle response through the power band but wat about speed?

NO.................the only way to make your quad go faster is the gearing..differnt size sprockets and tires.

I would not say that... for one reason. The stock 400 won't hit the rev limiter in 5th. Just a jet kit is unnoticeable on a 400. Even my 400 with HMF, open lid, and uni filter won't hit the rev limiter... It goes about 2 mph faster than a stocker, but it has a lot more torque. If you get a top end exhaust, cam,. and a high compression piston, you should hit the rev limiter. Once you do that, you can up the rev limit, to get more speed, while keeping the same gearing and tires.

if you dont have any mods its not worth it. + you can only be so rich before you actually loose power.

there is no point in putting a jet kit in a stock quad...the point of a jet kit is to make it richer or leaner ( the carb ) but if it`s stock you don`t need to rejet...if you get a jet kit you will just put the same size jet in there anyway so there is NO difference what so ever...it`s like changing your stock air filter with another stock filter..it just won`t do anything
