I'm in the market for a-arms and a swingarm. First off I want to know what setup people are liking. For example is everyone running +1 1/8" with standard arms or are they using a shorter swingarm with +forward arms?

I'm still not sure on the brand yet, but I'm kind of debating between Houser and Burgard. I like Laegar, but I'm not sure if I'm able to spend that much. Let me know what you guys think.

i like the burgards because they are 1 forward. i've ran the burgard +1+1 standard front end with a stock swinger and gt thunder revalve and link and it handles great. turns good, doesn't wheelie so much, etc. oh, i would also use a 4-1 front wheel and it would handle great. and its a really cheap set up.

With all the testing that I have done I wouldn't recomend +1 inch forward arms.
What Hoopd450 said isn't really correct. By moving the arms forward and using the stock swingarm you would transfer more wieght to the rear so the quad would actually wheelie more. I have found that the 450R has a problem with push in the front end so by making the swingarm longer you would transfer more wieght to the front end helping with the push problem.

Yeah TBD is right. You run +2+1s in the front and +1.25 in the rear..All of our bikes are LSR and ride flawlessly.

i have a burgard +2 swinger and burgard +2 A-arms the a-arms are +0 forward. when i ordered them he said +1 forward doesnt work very well with the 450. i do a lot of hillclimbing so thats why i have a +2 and it works great. if i were doing mx or whatever else i would go anywhere from +1 to +1.25.

So is most people going +1 forward in the front and + 1.25 in the back? I'm just going 1 inch wider on the front too since this is a XC setup.
