plug checks on a jack?

Can i just jack up my quad and do plug checks? like get it up into 3rd gear WOT and then cut it, let down the quad and check the plug? or do i have to be riding it on actual ground? i dont see a differnce, except for cooling, but i would do it fast.

I've never thought about doing it that way, but I don't see why it wouldn't work

i wouldnt recomend it unless its the only way you can do a plug check. you need to have air moving over the engine so it wont overheat so unless you got a really big fan i wouldnt recomend it
