View Full Version : Which Spark Plug?

When I bought the R the guy had a br7es in it, but I rebuilt the entire engine new bore, ported erythin like that so I was wondering what kinda spark plug everyone would suggest to use. Thanks!

use what the nkg br7es. you wont have any probs

thats what it says on the plug. this was the guy who had it before me who used that not me. just wonderin what everyone else uses

I'm not trying to be a smartass, I've never heard of anyone using a BR7ES. Seems way hot to me, might have been in there to prolong the need for a rebuild.

Honda manual calls for a BR9ES, if a hotter plug is needed Honda
calls for a BR8ES. Most folks run BR8ES. The 8 in the # is the heat range of the plug. Lower the # hotter the plug.

Depending on hat you want to spend you can use BR8Ewhatever.

ahh yes ur right. 8 is what i run in my r. i was thinking of my bike.

u dont even need to get the R, i run b8es. R stands for resistor or somethin like that.
