i dont think the suzuki 250R gets enough respect it was just as fast as the honda and for handling read the old magazines to some they handle better. on this site all i ever hear about is the honda 250R...theres even a whole section dedicated to it...what about suzuki people? yeah i know im complaining;)

i think the fact that this was at first based on Honda Atvs might have a lil something to do with that :o

One good thing about it, it came with a powervalve stock.

from what i've read on here the lt's are faster but the r's handle better.

but if i had to choose........... honda. don't know why.... they look cooler i guess :blah:

the Lt250 was fast, but i dont think it was as realiable as the 250r. another thing, the 250r dominated every class it was in for how many years?

I always heard that the suzuki 250r's blew top ends a bit more frequently then the other 2 strokes. They are nice quads though, coming with a powervalve from the factory and all. I almost got a 91 i think about a year ago.

That is 100% correct... very very very simular.. and why not copy something thats awesome :)

Yes they are very good quads but like everything else the original always gets the better praise.
