1/8 in 8.21 seconds?????????????? wow... no offense but that is a ****ty time man.. my blaster runs 5.5's in the same distance.. CONGRATS BTW!!!!!:D

Yes i thought that as well 8.2 in the 1/8 is kind of bad, which is why i brought up the traction thing.

From thepictures it doesnt look like all your weight is at the back seems your hunching forwards alot, but hey i cant make it out all that well on the pictures you provided.

8.20's in the 1/8 mile is haulin....kinda hard to believe really. Especially since he only has a pipe. It might be slow for 300 feet?? The fastest I have ever ran in the 1/8 mile was 8.9 at 74 mph.

1/8 mile and 300ft is the same? isnt it? if not exact then fairly close? or am i wrong? 300ft = 100 yds which is a football field length and that looks like what hes running

no...there is close to 700 feet in the 1/8 mile. but, yeah...if that is 300 feet, then I think that time could be improved upon

07-21-2005, 10:35 AM
1/8 of a mile is 754 feet btw....

07-21-2005, 10:40 AM
If he did 754 feet in 8.2 seconds thats only 62mph..

so yes it can be improved upon ALOT!

07-21-2005, 10:44 AM
PS that speed (max speed) is IF he started out at 62mph, which he didnt coz he started from a dead stop... so top speed for that run was lower than that even.

DUH gah haha sorry guys i had a brain fart there for a minute i kept thinkin bout a football field length instead of the length of the track as far as distance goes and converting it to feet and stuff ( i know its weird) but yeah that can be improved on alot.. its more to it than just going out there and holding the gas.. you have to have good reaction times, shifting at the right time, and making sure your bike is setup correctly.. BUT that is good for him if that is the first time for him for that type of tree (lights) setup:D

Your blaster runs 5.5 in the 1/8 on dirt? BS! We run at the local drag strip regularly on a strip not dirt and street bikes rarely see 5.5 c'mon now maybe you are thinking 300'. 8.21 is strong on the dirt. Do you guys realize how long 1/8th is or are you confused. Quadzillas run around 7.8's 450's run around 8ish on black top. So 8.21 is a great time on dirt where there is alot less traction. My buddies 03 gsxr 1000 exetended with full yoshi and power comander has only hit 5.99 once and I'm sure your blaster cant out run him on the 1/8th.

OH never mine I see youcorrected yourself :)

How can 1/8 mile be 754 ft when 1/4 mile is 1320 ft?

breakdown:
1 mile = 5280 ft
1/2 mile = 2640 ft
1/4 mile = 1320 ft
1/8 mile = 660 ft
1/16 mile = 330 ft

Did somebody change the way the mile is measured since I moved to Japan:confused:

MichaelS693 -- why are you gazing at another man's crotch! MEAT GAZER ALERT!!!
