My steering stem rubs up against my plastic peice that sits on top of the tank, and i dont know if its bent and can be straightend but what should i do?

Yeah its bent mines bent the same way

Did u ever flip backwards n land on the bars really hard cuz thats my issue lol

no the gas tank never came un done, but im the same problem as Honda MaNiAc 01, it must be bent because i did the same thing lol, can it be straightend or should i just not worry about it?

mine did that...my stem is bent...i just took that cover right off

Mine was the same way and was bent. You can get stock stems off of ronnies mail order ( www.ronnies.com ) for about $60 I think. I just went with Houser and don't regret it at all.

u can bend your stem back, but that will just make it weaker

This might sound way idiotic but it worked... My buddy had an old 400EX and plowed down a tree. He took his stem off, tied a come along to it, then a tow strap, then the tow strap hooked to a truck.... Put the steering stem behind a big tree, and drove off slowly... It straightened his stem almost perfectly... Easy, redneck method to doing things.

I bent my sub frame the other day. I stratened it red neck stlyle, hammar.

Thats the only way man. I grew up believing strongly that duct tape and chicken wire will fix anything.
