knocking.....

ive got a knocking noise coming from the bottom end.only happens at 3/4 steady throttle (in gear).any ideas what this is?rod ...main bearing...balancer?didnt start doing it till i put on a 310 kit runnin 220psi ...

if you didnt increase the octane then go to race fuel and it should solve the problem. It is called detonation.

im runnin 110 octane..maybe need a colder plug?im runnin br8es gapped at.018

its not the plug cause i have the same plug on my bike. I would just take it apart and check her out. If its fine then it costs $20 in gaskets. Way better than what its going to costs if it throws that rod or did like mine did and tear apart the whole cylinder, crank and everyother moving piece. lol
