Are the Hatfield-McCoy trails fun to ride with the sport quads...or is it mainly for the 4x4's... if so what can i expect?

I ride the H/M system all the time and meet tons of people from all over creation. Most of the comments I hear are like "it's the best riding on the East coast" ect. It's alot of fun for both sports and utes!!! Plenty of fast trails and access to a harescamble track from Waterways if thats your pleasure and plenty of mud and mud holes for the utes!!! Enjoy and send me a pm if you come up to ride. I'll try and meet ya at one of the trailheads.

Me and a buddy went last week and rode a predator and raptor. We had a blast and look forward to going back. Only this time we are going on a weekend. The Browning Fork(rockinghouse) trail head was great. We rode the Browning Fork, Dingess Rum and the Buffalo Mtn. trails. We stayed in Logan, which we thought was pretty central for these 3 trails. Hatfield McCoy website is www.trailsheaven.com in case you didn't have it.

Do they have the ''tread lightly" policy does that mean theres a speed limit on the trails?

The only signs that I saw about speed limits were at the loading area.

I have been to HM 3 times and we are going back in sept. I like it there in the fal when the colors change. My buddies and I all ride 400's and we love it. We stay in Man WV and you can ride right to the trailhead. I wish I could go right now.

We are looking at going back in Sept/Oct. We had a great time, not much to do for the night life though.

Did you go down to the Rolling Thunder. I hear thats where to go for the night life. We went to a couple little bars there in Man called JR's and Dastany's. The were within walking distance from where we stayed.

We stayed in Logan at the Logan Lodge(?). It was about 2 miles from rolling thunder going toward Man. We didn't get to see rolling thunder in action, but did talk to the owner. We did a Sun.-Wed stay and ride. We did hit one bar in Logan, but it wasn't nothing to talk about. Next time we go it's going to be on a weekend so that we can catch rolling thunder.

I can't believe you live in the same town as me. I've been organizing rides at Hatfield for 4 years now and you haven't made one yet....

When we go to hatfield for rides, we take over the town....:o

We was going to meet up with you guys, but we went on different dates due to work schedules. We've been going for 3 years now, but never could work the time out until this summer.
