400EX cam advice

What is the best cam out there for woods ridiing. I heard that the Hot cams were great and the Web cams were not all that good..Also do you guys suggesst that I do a port and polish job. If so, who does the best job and how much you figue it would cost.

for woods riding i would get a hotcam stage 1. a port an polish would really just benefit a motor with some work into it. it wouldnt hurt, might have a liitel gains, but not sure if it will really help if you just add a cam.

Stage 1 with stock porting works good!

stg 1 and you can do it your self with a clymer, if you need some help, pm me and i can give you some help, from start to finish, it took me about hour and a half.

I have a 416 with a JE 12:1 and Web Cams 450/451 grind.It flat rips in the woods.Just remember if you go with a web you should use hardened rockers.
